No human being born out of the uterus of a woman (his mother) has the rights to force you to bear his/her name. I Mean No human being at all. Women just make life so miserable for themselves over Nothing or well, mostly to prove to their friends that they are married.
All, I'm saying it, make sure you are doing WHAT YOU WANT AND WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY. You can ask your husband to take your name as well - You know. Afterall, you married him just as he married you. If you didn't agree and sign the papers, there's no marriage. He wears a ring on his wedding finger like you and I am sure your wedding car read Chy weds Emeka...So, You see, You can equally ask him to take your name if he likes. If he can't take your name, then he has no right to ask you to take his name.
Do what you want as a woman. Some women make me laugh, They are like, I've reverted back to my maiden name after divorce and blah blah blah. It's okay to do things how you know to do it till you know better. Feel free to use your names dear women and Enjoy your marriages - It's a Partnership, You signed for it like a document with witnesses....
You are not A slave or in Bondage. STOP FEELING CAGED!!!
